What's the big deal? This used to be open to anyone!
As part of an effort to keep the DelvarWorld community running strongly, we now require users to be logged in to use certain services and view certain pages. Rest assured, these are all FREE services and you will never be asked any type of billing information. We just don't want random users from the internet abusing this service. The uploader was attacked recently, which warrented this design overhaul. An unknown person not in the community uploaded a malicious PHP script which accessed the root directory of DelvarWorld.com and replaced the homepage with vulgar text. The requiring of login means that we can very easily catch and ban these people, and ensures the quality of files uploaded. Simply put, we don't want abuse, and we want a stronger community. If you want to use the services we provide, you have to at least thank us a little bit by signing into the community. Much love, |
