Photography
Like many people, I acquired my first camera because I would often see a beautiful or interesting scene and say "damn, I wish I had a camera. Maybe then other people could experience this." The first camera I owned was a Canon Powershot S500, which was an amazing tool for its cost. It produced high quality images and let me explore the medium of digital photography with little hassle. I believe I reached the apex of my ability to photograph with that little point and shoot the summer before my junior year in college. I still carry it with me to this day however, and it has helped me produce some truly inspiring work.
I am currently shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, and it's as if I have started a new learning curve in photography, both conceptual and technical. There is a new world of photography available to me that I am beginning to explore. Please enjoy some newer instillations to this page, including projects for a photography class I took in Winter of 2007.
