May as well update!
Dec 19, 2006
It's the one week countdown till Christmas break! Despite the fact that RIT doesn't hold its finals now (that was three weeks ago), we're still getting inundated with work. Christmas break divides up our second "quarter" into two sections, one three weeks long, and one seven weeks long after the break. That means that teachers tend to stack up projects and assignments right before the break begins, so as you can imagine everyone here is pretty stressed. In fact I'm only writing this update because I'm putting off a photo project, an HCI project and presentation, six sketches for a sketchbook, a physics lab, and a physics "WebAssign." I find that updating the website makes me relaxed / helps to move the bowels. I've got a few smaller projects here and there which may some day work their way to the main sections of the site. I'm assuming (based on absolutely nothing) that after the break I'll have a little more free time as homework loads revert to normal, not the pre-break frenzy. This will give me ample time, ideally, to work on some projects unrelated to the site for other people.
Not too much else to report. The usual house craziness is going on (it’s always an accidental, disaster-prone party in here), and despite being pretty messy right now, everyone seems content with the living conditions. On a completely related note, Secret Santa is theoretically happening again this year in the forums, despite the fact that I wont be in Westborough for the event. Forum activity has been pretty low these days, but eh, what are you gonna do? It’s not like I’ve been updating the website with new content daily. Stupid school, I blame it entirely.
Happy holidays, birthdays, and etcetera for those other semi-religions!
